Listening is more than just hearing words. It’s tuning in fully — to what’s said, what’s left unsaid, and how it’s said.
Active listening means:
Giving your full attention without interrupting
Showing you’re engaged with nods or small sounds like “mhmm”
Reflecting back what you hear in your own words (“It sounds like you’re feeling…”).
